Intelligent Patching

These unique patch cords have two flexible fibres running through their length. These fibres are designed, with the aid of the Patch Light, to accept light at one end of the patch cord and emit a bright light at the other end, providing an immediate and positive identification of both ends of the patch cord. When repatching, this saves a tremendous amount of time and guesswork, as well as eliminating the possibility of disconnecting the wrong link. All leads are manufactured using black cable, with black strain relief boots that are specially designed to accept a ‘Patch Clip’, to allow for colour coding and are available in up to 16 colours. Each lead is clearly identified with category, length of lead and part number.
